I think there was some brainwashing going on this afternoon. He says "We in the South don't believe in Darwin or autonomy." What? I believe there are plenty of people 'in the South' that KNOW (not 'believe in' like the tooth fairy) Darwin was right. He says "Anyone that believes the Stock Market will come back is foolish." What? Our whole economy is based on the Stock Market. His answer to the world's problems is to have more babies? What rock is he living under? The world population is growing exponentially.
Can we get a rebuttal speaker?

I'm a historian from Cullman, Alabama. You may already have all the photos you're going to use for your book, but I just wanted to let you know I have some photographs of John Sparks and M. C. Blackman, who are supposed to be from Carrollton. Both of these men were, I believe, law enforcement officers of some kind in Carrollton and became law enforcement officers when they moved to Cullman. M. C. Blackman was the Chief of Police in Cullman around 1906/1907 time frame. John Sparks was an Assistant Policeman in 1912, Chief of Police in 1915, and Sheriff in 1919. Six months into his office Sheriff Sparks was shot and killed in a gun fight with someone he was trying to arrest. One of the photos I have is of John Sparks' house, in Carrollton. M. C. Blackman and John Sparks moved to Cullman in 1903. let me know if you are interested in getting copies of these photos.

I’m checking around to see how university libraries process books that come with cd’s. Do you normally keep them in general collection or on closed shelf? What is the charge if someone happens to lose the cd, but not the book?. Do you catalog the book and the cd separately?

Thanks,
